At the end of last year, our daughter Jikke fulfilled a lifelong dream: crossing the ocean on a large sailing ship alongside a group of young trainees from Masterskip. The voyage made a deep impression on her; she grew in many ways, discovered she could rely on herself, and realized exactly what she wants to do in the future. Jikke wants to become a pediatrician, so she decided to choose a rigorous science-focused curriculum for the final years of secondary school to prepare for studying medicine at university. Jikke is well aware of how long and expensive medical school is, as well as how high the rent will be in the city where she hopefully gets accepted. She is determined to save as much money as possible over the coming years so that she can focus fully on her studies later on, rather than having to prioritize part-time jobs. That is why you will see Jikke working hard at the campsite this summer cleaning, handling reception duties, babysitting, and serving up delicious ice cream and cold drinks with her venture, ‘Jikke serves‘! By ordering a tasty treat, you are helping to make Jikke’s dream come true.

Order from Jikke via WhatsApp (before 10 PM). Enter your reservation name, the campfield or house you’re staying in, and your order in the app. Jikke will bring it to you and you can pay cash!
She does this all summer, but occasionally she’s not available… she’ll let you know directly via the app.

Who is Jikke?
Hi! I’m Jikke, 15 years old, and I’ve lived at the campsite my whole life: it Dreamlân! I grew up here with my two older brothers. I used to play a lot at the campsite, made friends, and helped Mom clean the showers, although that was more swinging and jumping on the trampoline than helping out…
Last year, I worked at the campsite all summer to fund my dream of crossing the ocean with Masterskip. I made that trip at the end of the year; it was an incredible experience and I learned so much from it. I’ve also realized that I want to become a pediatrician, and since I need to save up a lot for medical school, I’m pitching in hard at the campsite again this summer: cleaning the shower block, welcoming guests, babysitting, and just like last year serving up tasty treats all around the campsite!
